Steven Baboussouras
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Level 2 Therapy Assistant
Level 1 & 2 Support Coordinator
Level 2 Support WorkerRaised with the strong values of his Greek grandparents, Steven has always felt a deep desire to help and care for others. Whilst teaching martial arts to children with disabilities in his youth, Steven discovered how rewarding it was to help others reach their fullest potential. His passion for community care drove him to create Heal Seal, enabling him to give back in a meaningful way to our society.
Over the past four years, Steven has devoted himself to the disability sector, where he has become increasingly aware of the inconsistencies in the level and scope of care offered to clients. He also found that very few providers offered a combination of NDIS and My Aged Care, leaving individuals struggling to navigate the Commonwealth Aged Care system and deciding which path was right for them.
Professional Experience and Qualifications
With a Certificate IV in Disability, multiple tertiary education qualifications, and Greek as a second language, Steven founded Heal Seal with a vision to provide the highest standard of care for both NDIS and My Aged Care participants.
He has extensive experience delivering complex mental health and psychosocial supports under the NDIS and My Aged Care frameworks - specialising in high‑intensity participants presenting behaviours of concern(verbal, psychological and physical aggression) and substance use disorders.
He has supported NDIS participants with Psychosocial, Intellectual and Neurological Disability of varying severity (mild, moderate and severe), including:

Steven is proud of Heal Seal’s growth and looks forward to continuing to provide compassionate care to the community.

Paula Papageorgiou
Senior Operations Manager | Senior Client Services and Support Manager
Level 2 Therapy Assistant
Level 1 & 2 Support Coordination
Level 2 Support WorkerPaula’s journey into healthcare and disability services began six years ago when she taught swimming lessons for children with disabilities. In this role, she discovered how one-on-one tailored support, focusing on water safety and skill development brought immense fulfillment for her and happiness for her students.
This role introduced Paula to NDIS and her interest grew, leading her to complete a Certificate IV in Disability. This allowed her to become a support worker in both NDIS and aged are settings, gaining experience in mental health, complex care needs and personal care. Her ability to provide supports in both Greek and English allows her to connect with aged care clients culturally. Her passion and interest in healthcare grew, especially in understanding the relationship between physical and mental health. As a result she decided to study a Bachelor of Nursing/ Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University, which she is now in her final year before completion.
Through her academic journey and hands-on experience, Paula has come to appreciate the unique value of building deeper, more personal relationships with clients in a community setting. As she nears graduation, Paula is eager to expand Heal Seal’s services to include in-home nursing, allowing her to combine clinical expertise and psychological insight to support her clients. Paula remains committed to delivering the highest standard of person-centred care.
